O’Connor Brewing Company recently announced its new in-house canning line as an innovative way, they say, of keeping the customer happy.
Owner Kevin O’Connor said the company was very aware of how popular cans have become among younger drinkers.
“Part of our mission is to evolve and to keep giving the people what they want, so we are excited to jump in and get crazy with this new canning line,” he said.

The change will mean O’Connor will be able to release some unexpected styles, like its Neutral Buoyancy Imperial Milk Stout (due later this month), a heavy-hitting 11 percent stout brewed with black currants and raspberry.
“We will continue to offer every-day traditional styles like lagers and pale ales, but we also want people to try some of our more eccentric, new-age recipes, and cans are a great vessel for this,” O’Connor said.
